CPE acquires Burgh & Schoenenberger Associates

We have some very exciting news to share. CPE has acquired Burgh & Schoenenberger Associates, Inc., a fluid handling instrumentation distributor with full service and repair capabilities. Based in Pavilion, NY, Burgh & Schoenenberger has been in business for more than 42 years.

Founding partner, Hans Schoenenberger will join the CPE family as a full-time consultant. Along with Hans, we welcome all Burgh & Schoenenberger employees including three service technicians and two customer service support staff to our Rochester facility.

This acquisition allows CPE to reach a new customer base while increasing the depth of our product and service offering. It’s a significant step forward in regards to our overall growth strategy. We are honored to welcome Hans and his 40 years of experience along with his entire service and support group to the CPE team.

As we build our flow performance brand on the pillars of people, engineered products, and unique service capabilities, the Burgh & Schoenenberger acquisition positions us to reach the process market across a new and broader spectrum of customers, in particular professional engineers.

This new partnership adds key suppliers Teledyne Isco, Plasti-Fab and Chemtrac, and places us in the consultation side of the market both municipally and industrially, adding product lines and service capabilities consistent with CPE’s focused business strategy and values.

A smooth transition will assure uninterrupted continuation of our joint services, while allowing us to integrate CPE’s extensive knowledge of piping and water flow with Burgh & Schoenenberger’s expertise in flow monitoring instrumentation.
