Corrosion Products & Equipment Inc. can reduce your maintenance costs, improve equipment performance and increase reliability by rebuilding your rotating equipment to “like new” condition. We have established our own shop specifications for our repairs that meet or exceed O.E.M. specifications. Our standard repair includes disassembly; solvent wash and inspection of parts; replacement of bearings, seals and worn pump parts; media blasting and painting of external surfaces; and checking of all pertinent dimensions during reassembly. During reassembly, the impeller and mechanical seal are set, and the pump is pressure tested to verify against leakage. Actual measurements are documented on a certification tag that is returned with your equipment. By passing our certification process, your equipment was repaired to our specifications and the reliability of your equipment will be equal to that of a new piece of equipment.
CPE has been repairing Falk, Boston, Krones, H&J, Dalton, Hercules, etc. for several customers. Typical repairs have included replacing bearings, grease seals, gear sets, inpro seals and refurbishing drive shafts with plasma spray. Backlash is monitored before and after the repair in order to meet our established specifications. If backlash is excessive, bull gears and pinions are replaced which extends the life of the gear drive. When necessary, we shim shaft end-play to oem specifications.
Hydraulic Pneumatic Cylinders: Our standard repair procedure includes media blasting and solvent washing the parts; replacing the rod seals, piston seals, rod gland bushings and end seals; and coating the reassembled cylinder with primer and corrosion resistant enamel. piston, rod and barrel are replaced if necessary. By replacing these parts, the performance of a repaired cylinder will be equal to that of a new cylinder.
Fluid Flow Analysis can be used to model new and existing systems. Once a system is modeled, problem areas can easily be identified and possible solutions tried prior to actually changing the system. System models can also be used for correctly sizing pumps and for performing energy conservation projects.
