ROCHESTER

Corrosion Products & Equipment, Inc.’s Rochester location serves as our company headquarters and the hub of our manufactured systems and equipment repair groups.  All prefabricated pump skids, plastic tanks and specialty plastic shapes are manufactured here.  Our shop is equipped with state of the art plastic bending, welding & cutting equipment.  In addition, all completed skid packages are tested in our in house test loop.  All pump and rotating equipment repairs are conducted in Rochester location.  Overhead crane and lifting capabilities afford us the ability to handle repairs of all types of pumping or rotating equipment, including large Vertical Turbine, Boiler Feed and Ansi type pumps as well as Gear boxes, Vacuum pumps and Compressors.

ALBANY

Corrosion Products & Equipment, Inc.’s Albany location provides 13,500 ft2 of warehouse and fabrication space.  We stock a wide array of mechanical seals, packings, pumping devices and chemical and abrasion resistant coatings.  In addition to our pump and seal inventory, we offer non-metallic pipe, valves and fittings.  FRP, CPVC, PVC, HDPE, P.P., and Lined steel are the types of materials that can be supplied directly from our inventory.  HDPE and plastic fusion machines are available for rental from our Albany warehouse.  This location also houses CPE’s pipe fabrication shop.  Fabrications of various materials, diameters and shapes can be shipped directly to our customers.  In addition, our new FRP structural fabrication shop opened in Albany on March 1, 2007.  Catwalks, ladders, platforms, etc. will be manufactured in our new 13,500 ft2 shop.

JAMAICA (Go to: Photo Gallery)

Corrosion Products opened our operations in Jamaica in 2001. We serve all facets of industry in Jamaica which include: Bauxite mining and refining, power generation, Food and beverage, sugar refining and oil refining amongst others. Our operation in Jamaica is headed up by Ainsworth Spence who has 35 years experience working in the process industries which include 17 years at the Alcan Kirkvine works and 23 years at Anheuser Busch. CPE has 3000 ft/2 facility where we apply chemical and abrasion resistant ceramic and epoxy coatings manufactured by the AW Chesterton Company to pump casings, pipes and other wear surfaces. We also repair all types of rotating equipment as well as mechanical seals. Our shop is managed by Brian Shorter M.E. who has worked exclusively in the Bauxite industry since his graduation for the University of West Indies in 1999. CPE also performs field services in Jamaica such as tank lings, high temperature coatings for stacks and ducting, pump and piping installations, as well as secondary containment coatings for process areas.


PUERTO RICO

Corrosion Products is pleased to announce the acquisition of Caribbean Mechanical Sealing, Inc. of U.S. Territory Puerto Rico.  The company will operate under the name of Caribbean Mechanical Solutions, LLC. (CMS).  CMS will represent the A.W. Chesterton company as well as other quality pump, pipe, valve and tank manufacturers in Puerto Rico and neighboring islands.  In addition, CMS will offer Corrosion Products services, repairs and fabrications.  This acquisition compliments our existing presence in the Caribbean, Corrosion Piping & Pumping Solutions of Jamaica, which opened in 2001.
