PUMP STATIONS
Corrosion Specialty Services can design and manufacture all sizes of pump stations. These systems can be stand alone packages capable of collecting and transferring all types of chemicals and chemical waste. Specific materials will be selected for corrosion resistance. NEMA 4, 7, and 9 systems are available.
Our standard systems offer two distinct advantages over the competition: pump selection and level control.
Our standard systems that include polypropylene (PP) or PVDF vertical immersible pumps utilize Finish Thompson magnetic drive sealess pumps. This technology prevents vapors from traveling along the pump shaft and corroding the motor. Other vertical immersible pumps that are not mag-drive claim to incorporate a “vapor seal”. This is a plastic disc attached to the shaft. Our experience indicates that these are not reliable. Please consider upgrading to the mag-drive technology as you replace the motors on these other pumps.
Our standard systems that include PP, PVDF, or Teflon lined horizontal pumps also utilize magnetic drive technology. These systems include either Finish Thompson pumps or Ansimag pumps depending upon flow rates and material selection.
All of our standard systems include non-contact ultrasonic level switch technology to provide alternating lead-lag pump control. A buoyancy high level switch provides an independent backup high level switch.
The following table shows pricing for our standard pump stations that incorporate horizontal magnetic drive pumps. A picture of a typical duplex system is shown just prior to installation. Submittal drawings and cut sheets are provided when requested. A typical drawing is shown. Pump stations are provided prewired as shown, or with wall mount control panels.

The prices below are for pump stations that include vertical immersible mag-drive pumps wired to a control box. All level controls are also wired. Installation includes completing plumbing connections and bringing power to the control box. A polypropylene check valve is installed on the discharge of the pump. The tank, fittings, pump, and check valve are constructed of polypropylene.
