VERTICAL TURBINE PUMPS

Corrosion Products & Equipment Inc. can reduce your maintenance costs, improve equipment performance and increase reliability by rebuilding your rotating equipment to "like new" condition. We have established our own shop specifications for our repairs that meet or exceed O.E.M. specifications. Our standard repair includes disassembly; solvent wash and inspection of parts; replacement of bearings, seals and worn pump parts; media blasting and painting of external surfaces; and checking of all pertinent dimensions during reassembly. During reassembly, the impeller and mechanical seal are set,  and the pump is pressure tested to verify against leakage. Actual measurements are documented on a certification tag that is returned with your equipment. By passing our certification process, your equipment was repaired to our specifications and the reliability of your equipment will be equal to that of a new piece of equipment.

Vertical Turbine Pumps are typically used on high flow, low head applications. During our repair process, all of the bushing are replaced in the pump and any shaft damage is repaired using plasma spray. We coat the suction bowl on the pump to prevent cavitation damage and zebra mussle build-up.
